Often unused, these sachets just pile up in fridge trays and on kitchen counters.&nbsp; So, together with Heinz, we decided to put an end to the piling sachet crisis plaguing the nation.The Heinz Trade-Up lets people trade their unwanted ketchup sachets for a bottle of Heinz in a simple, seamless way through a custom vending machine mechanism. The machine was equipped with an AI-powered visual-recognition camera that we trained to detect hundreds of unique ketchup brands and differentiate them from other condiments (mayo, mustard, chilli sauce, etc.). The machine was programmed to dispense a bottle of Heinz ketchup for every five ketchup sachets. Finally, the machine went live and toured neighbourhoods across the country. Wherever our fans wanted us to go, we did. As customers traded their unwanted sachets of all brands, shapes and sizes, the machine became smarter, ensuring a smooth experience and allowing fans to take home a bottle (or in most cases, several bottles) of their favourite ketchup. The 44 is a cultural hub created in light of the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop. The space celebrates Hip-Hop through exhibitions, events, and workshops, and houses a cafe and curated Hip-Hop shop and they commisioned me with their whole brand development.&nbsp; The namet takes its name out of the address where it’slocated in Berlin: Stralauer Allee 44. This number coincidentally, is also the foundation on which hip-hop stands, musically speaking, the most basic unit of a song; 16 bars, or 4 beats and 4 bars, 4/4. The task was to create an elegant and, at the same time, bold title for the film, and design the posters for the promo. Since 2019, the Berlin-based brand stands for high-quality CBD cosmetics and hemp-based lifestyle products.vaay is part of Sanity Group and backed by investors like Snoop Dogg, Will.i.am (Black Eyed Peas), Klaas Heufer-Umlauf, and André Schürrle. I was commissioned by vaay with the redesign of their family of 12 products as part of a complete rebranding developed by Yummy Colours at the beginning of 2023. Inspired by the new colorful and playful branding, the challenge was to give each product its own personality while having important variations in sizing, formats, and color palette. It ended up being so much fun, even though it was one of the biggest challenges I have been trusted with.
